Australia Pakistan Water Security Initiative (APWASI)

OVERVIEW

The Australia-Pakistan Water Security Initiative (APWASI), funded by Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) as part of the South Asia Water Security Initiative (SAWASI), aims to promote the adoption of Water Sensitive Cities (WSCs) to foster a resilient urban environment. The initiative, executed by Adam Smith International in collaboration with the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), focuses on enhancing urban water management through effective stakeholder consultation and engagement. By bringing together key workstreams, the initiative strives to create an integrated and sustainable approach to water security in Pakistan.

As part of the communication efforts for APWASI, a comprehensive branding and communication plan was designed to establish a cohesive visual identity for the initiative. Key activities included the development of communication materials, and the creation of reports and presentations. This involved designing reports, creating infographics, and ensuring that all materials were aligned with the project's goals. Furthermore, tailored presentations and webinars were designed to facilitate knowledge sharing, with a focus on enhancing stakeholder understanding of urban water management and its impact on building a water-secure future. The communication outputs also encompassed the preparation of consultation reports and support materials, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and a collaborative approach across stakeholders.
