Girls Education Program, Afghanistan

The Girls Education Project (GEP)* focused on improving girls' education across various regions in Afghanistan. The project supported girls' schools in Nangarhar and Laghman provinces. Over the years, progress was made, with students benefiting from civic education camps, skill-based classes, and sports goods distribution. Additionally, over 1,700 teachers were trained, and essential materials such as stationery kits and school bags were distributed to enhance the learning environment. The project also worked to establish play areas, supported co-curricular activities, and addressed challenges such as inadequate school infrastructure. For this project, content was captured in the form of photographs, stories, and videos for reporting and fundraising purposes.
